Started Episcopal in 9th grade

My favorite thing about Episcopal is the small class sizes because I get to connect with my teachers while finding my personal learning style. I love how prepared we are for college, especially with our office hours program. I love our school lunch- there are a variety of options like different hot meals and the special upperclassman lunches in the Alumni House. Episcopal offers individual and tailored academic plans including an accelerated math program where students taking Precalculus can learn AP Calculus AB second semester, then learn AP Cal BC the following year. Advisory is another thing I love about Episcopal. We get to meet weekly with a faculty advisor and a group of our peers to learn about worldly topics. I lead Mu Alpha Theta, where we compete with students from different schools and go to state conventions every year. We also hold on-campus tournaments. I am also a part of the Science Club and Science Olympiad, which competes in distinctive events such as Rocks and Minerals and Anatomy and Physiology. In Science Club I have had the opportunity to listen to alumni guest speakers come back to campus and speak on their Episcopal experience and real scientific careers. Overall I love being a part of Episcopal’s community and finding my role contributing to the school with my distinct interests. I am ecstatic to have come to such an academically rigorous, yet lively, school for high school!
