What is Academic Technology?
Digital technology use in the classroom is nothing new. It has been around since even before Apple first made a push in the 1980s. However, technology is ever changing and the academic uses are growing exponentially each year. From software to hardware, it is difficult to find an area of a teacher and student's academia not affected by technology…or by the speed at which technology changes. From tools that give feedback to creation tools for publishing ideas, technology in the classroom is ever-present.
In order to keep up with those changes in skills, efficiency, and digital citizenship, Episcopal has established the Academic Technology Group to assist students, teachers, administrators, and parents with utilizing technology in the learning process. Using this and other pages found in the e-Resources, you will find many resources for students and teachers to assist in furthering this endeavor. Parents may also find it useful for quick links to items of interest. This website will also display the commitment to innovative ideas for enhanced learning experiences for the whole child: spiritually, intellectually, morally, physically and artistically. You can find all of our current initiatives by clicking here.
