Senior year at Episcopal includes many traditions, but one of the most endearing is Senior/Kindergarten Buddies. Each year, the Senior Class Officers match a group of Seniors with a Kindergarten student, and they meet a few times during the year to share snacks and fun on the playground. It is a way for our oldest students on campus to connect with some of our youngest and to serve as positive role models and leaders in our community. For this year’s Christmas party, the Student Council organized an ornament making activity. The Kindergarten Buddies kept their ornaments, and the Senior Buddies placed theirs on the Christmas tree in the Student Center. Many members of the Class of 2017 have memories of their Senior Buddies, and now the Class of 2029 will have a memento from their Senior Buddies.
