Episcopal Class of 2017 received their class rings at the traditional Ring Ceremony held Tuesday, March 8, in the Lewis Family Memorial Chapel of the Good Shepherd on Episcopal's campus. Family members filled the Chapel with prayer, song and best wishes for the newly "ringed" leaders of our Pre-K3 through 12th grade school. Students received their rings from members of the senior class, who are preparing for graduation this May.
Mr. McIntosh, Head of School, welcomed the community to the celebration. Members from the Class of '17 lit symbolic white, blue and gold candles and Scott Engholm delivered the address to the class.
“So here’s where I turn the tables on you--because the way I see it, if I am obligated to you because you are better than I was, then you are just as obligated to me to become better than you are now.” -Scott Engholm After the ceremony refreshments were served and students and their families took photographs on the front lawn as they watched the skies for the impending raindrops to fall. Congratulations Class of 2017! We look forward to your leadership in the Fall!
