The All School Fall Student Art Show will be on display in the VPAC lobby through the middle of November.
The work from the pre-k – 5th graders includes a variety of projects in the form of landscapes, cityscapes, portraits, as well as paper weavings. Caroline Hagan's students experimented with a number of different media from oil pastels to paints and pencils.
Middle school art includes 84 works by 45 of Mr. Roper’s middle school students and features drawings, paintings, mixed media and digital works.
Kate Trepagnier's Upper School students displayed a varied selection of their studio output over the past months. On display are dynamic abstractions, drawings of still life, landscapes and portrait using a variety of mediums. All students participated in the Artist Research Project by visiting LASM to select an artist in the Contemporary Landscape show. They researched their selected artist and an example of this activity is also presented in the show.
Photography by Emma Market '16, Media Art III, is also on display. Her selection features a study of Cuban life. Her teacher is Ms. Madden.
