As we look forward to the start of school in August, we have studied the plans of other independent schools as well as guidelines and recommendations from trusted sources that you will see referenced in this document. Of particular note is a recent document from the American Academy of Pediatrics which states, “the AAP strongly advocates that all policy considerations for the coming school year should start with a goal of having students physically present in school.” Our goal is to do just that. We are fortunate to have a spacious campus and small class sizes, and as a result, will be able to meet the current Phase 2 guidelines with all students on campus.

Please be assured that we are closely monitoring the ever changing pandemic and guidelines and will be prepared to make changes as necessary as we move through the 2020-2021 school year.

I look forward to partnering with you.

Responding to COVID-19 Flow Charts

We are happy to welcome students and faculty back to campus for the 2020/2021 school year. To reduce risk of illness, we have developed these guidelines for dealing with COVID-19 symptoms and illness and/or a known exposure to COVID-19.

Campus Foot Traffic Flow

The following map shows the external traffic flow pathways for the Episcopal campus and classrooms this school year. Traffic will flow in a clockwise direction to reduce the occurrence of two-way traffic. Markers will be placed on sidewalks and doors to direct student/faculty flow. Each campus building will have internal traffic flow pathways.
