Ella Chapman

Started Episcopal in 6th grade

Hi my name is Ella Chapman and I am a senior Student Ambassador. Here at Episcopal we are a school all about supporting each other! I have been a member of the Academic Resource Center (ARC) for 3 years. In ARC we help students with assignments and create ongoing partnerships with anyone who needs extra support. The Beta Club and National Honor Society are all about helping members in our Episcopal community and beyond. As a member of the NHS leadership, I am working with my peers to create community partnerships with meaningful service learning opportunities. The Honor Council is part of student leadership that supports academic honesty and community accountability. We are all about strengthening trust between students and teachers and creating an honest community. Episcopal provides students numerous opportunities to pursue their own interests. Both the Dance Team and Dance Ensemble have given me the ability to dance at football games and pep rallies, but also on the stage for performances. Our Club fair allows students to find their own interests and participate in clubs they are interested in. My 7 years of French experience has made me super passionate about the language and I get to pursue this passion by being president of the French Club! I will be presenting my Thesis “Ted Talk” on LAUNCH Day in the spring. My research is based on my interest in adolescent development, with a focus on adolescent moral development in a digital age.
