Student Government

The Student Government serves the school and community, acts as an intermediary between administration and students, and provides a means by which students can convey their opinions and develop activities that will enhance the quality of life within the school community. The Student Council is composed of a President, Vice President, Secretary and Community Liaison. The Student Government also includes four class officers from each grade, 9 - 12:  Class President, Vice President, Marketing Representative, and Class Designer. Student Government members are elected by their peers.

Honor Council

The Episcopal Honor Council is an elected body of Upper School students responsible for supervising the Episcopal Honor Code's maintenance, which includes dealing with violations of the Code and educating the community about expectations of upholding the Code. The Honor Council consists of four seniors, three juniors, two sophomores, and one freshman elected by their classmates. Each of these members serves for one school year.

Serving on the Honor Council is a significant distinction for an Upper School student. Honor Council members meet with students who have violated the Code and help instruct them on avoiding future mistakes. The Council also makes recommendations to the school administration about what consequences might be suitable for a Code violation. These consequences are aimed at helping the student learn from the incident and improve on their future decision-making. In this way, the Council is continually working to strengthen the character of the Episcopal student body.
