Katie Thompson joined the Advancement Office in November 2014 and currently serves as the Director of Development. Katie is responsible for overseeing the school’s capital and operating fundraising efforts and for stewarding gifts and donors to the school. A Baton Rouge native, Katie is a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy and Louisiana State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing.  A key member of the development team at the Louisiana Arts & Science Museum for seven years, Katie brings a variety of experiences to our fundraising work.  She is a former board member and active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Katie and her husband Cory are proud parents of a Middle School and Lower School student.


 

Lindsay Turner

Lindsay Turner is a 1997 graduate of Episcopal High School. She received her undergraduate degree at The University of Alabama in Business and received her master’s degree in Sports Administration from Louisiana State University.  After spending 17 years on LSU’s campus both at the LSU Alumni Association as well as the Tiger Athletic Foundation, in 2019 she accepted a position as the Development Outreach Coordinator here at Episcopal. Lindsay married another Episcopal alum, Earl Turner III, and they have two children, Wynn and Sydney. Lindsay is thrilled to be back on campus and looks forward to reenergizing and reconnecting with fellow Knights in our alumni community.

Elizabeth Kline

Elizabeth joined the Advancement office in June 2020 and serves as the Annual Fund Coordinator. Most recently, Elizabeth served as the Leadership Giving Officer at the Foundation for Woman’s Hospital following three years as Marketing Coordinator in the Woman’s Communications Department. Her experience in fundraising began in New York City at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center where she gained a deep understanding of development and best practices. Elizabeth holds a B.A. in Communications from Louisiana State University. She is a graduate of Baton Rouge Area Chamber’s Leadership Class of 2019 and member of the Association for Fundraising Professionals. Elizabeth is an award winning creative professional whose children’s book, “The Very Best Birthday” was published in 2018. Elizabeth attended Charlotte Country Day School in her hometown of Charlotte, NC from Kindergarten through 12th grade and is able to apply her own experience in an independent school to her role at Episcopal. Elizabeth and her husband Patrick are proud Episcopal parents with a son in Lower School.

Debbie Henson

Debbie joined Episcopal in April of 2016 as the Advancement Data Services Manager.  A resident of Denham Springs, Debbie holds a Masters of Library and Information Science and a Bachelor of Science in Business Education from LSU.  Debbie has been a law librarian at Taylor, Porter, Brooks & Phillips, and has 23 years of school librarian experience in the Livingston Parish Public School system.  She is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Livingston Parish Public Library System.  Debbie brings many experiences to our development team, including implementing, utilizing, and teaching multiple database systems, independent and collaborative grant writing, prospect and operations management.
