Started Episcopal in 7th grade

I love how Episcopal has so many ways to be a part of the community by participating in activities that we are genuinely interested in. Me, I love running and I run on the Track team, I am in the Dance Ensemble and the clubs I participate in are, Science Olympiad, Mu Alpha Theta, FRAME, Fash and Design, and Swing Club.

I really appreciate and enjoy the fact that we can connect with our teachers on a more personal level and really get to know them as people and their life experiences. Getting the opportunity to learn from really knowledgeable people is so valuable. But the ability to actually get to know them as people and learn lessons from teachers is something that is amplified by the tight-knit community at Episcopal. Episcopal supports individuals' different needs from the wide variety of classes we can choose from and the ability to start or continue clubs.

The friendships and mutual hard work that the track team endures together really facilitate a sense of belonging and create strong bonds. It is such a special feeling to work with each other toward a common goal, all contributing in our own unique ways from sprinters, to distance runners, to field events, all the while supporting each other. I am a really hands-on person and am a part of FRAME, which is an engineering club where we design and create various things such as a 2HP Pool accelerator to cool down the swim team’s pool. Lastly, I wanted to tell you about our morning Community Time, which we have every day giving us time to connect with our peers and decompress before our classes. We are always working at becoming a part of a community greater than ourselves.
