Lower School Families,

We’ve had a spirited week in the Lower School - celebrating both Homecoming week and Karnival Knight! Quarter two clubs began this week. On Monday, our 4th and 5th graders learned from author Sarah Guillory. Tuesday was a special day for our 4th graders, showcasing their musical theater talents in the High School Musical, Jr. (Jr!) performance for students in the morning and parents in the afternoon. We enjoyed meeting with you for Parent-Teacher Conferences on Wednesday! On Thursday, Talyn joined us for Morning Meeting. She will return to St. Jude for some additional testing this weekend, so we prayed over her as a school family. We were also able to present her with donations from a classmate who raised money selling custom football buttons and a hand painted poster made by an Upper School Student. We are Team Talyn! Today, students enjoyed a Pep Rally, a special Diwali dance & presentation, and 5th graders shared their space expertise at a Space Museum!Tonight is Karnival Knight … see you there!

Karnival Knight Reminders - Dismissal will take a different form today.

  • All Lower School students attending Karnival Knight must be picked up from their homeroom class. Park in the lot by the football stadium, in the lot near the pool, the Frazer lot, or on Chapelwood Drive and walk to your child’s homeroom for pickup. Visitor stickers are not necessary.
  • Students not attending Karnival Knight must be picked up at the carpool circle
  • There is no extended care today.
