Student standing beside personal art workVisual Arts

Expression, creativity, and design are all aspects of our common humanity that bridge the gap between cultures and allow us to understand and empathize with others.  At Episcopal, the visual arts serve to develop our students' connection with artists and movements in the past while helping them make sense of their emotions today.

Students in the Lower and Middle School experience hands-on lessons with a dedicated art teacher and explore many different mediums from painting to clay.  In the Upper School, classes in painting, pottery, drawing, sculpture, and digital photography--taught by experienced teacher/artists--deepen with student interest, preparing students for their college experience and meaning-filled lives.

Get Involved with the Arts Krewe

The Arts Krewe, our parent-run arts booster group, provides financial and volunteer support including backstage assistance, concession staffing, coordinating events and fundraisers, providing snacks, and more. We support all of Episcopal's art disciplines: band, choir, dance, theater, and visual arts.

Every parent with students engaged in Episcopal art programs is automatically a member of the Arts Krewe. Show your support by contributing your time, talents, and resources.
