Boys Varsity Baseball

The Episcopal baseball program is made up of three teams, (Freshman, Junior Varsity and Varsity).  The Knights played their first baseball game in 1990, and the program has seen tremendous success since then. Episcopal celebrated a state championship in 2004, recording 29 total wins which is the school record for wins in a season. Episcopal is proud to have numerous baseball athletes go on to compete at the collegiate level.

Head Coach

JT BlairJ.T. Blair serves as the Knights Head Baseball Coach. J.T. joined Episcopal after serving as the Assistant Coach at Walker High School, where he worked with catchers and hitters. J.T. is also the Head Coach of Knights Nation, a 17U national team. The team captured the Marucci World Series Championship, ending the summer with a 26-10 record. J.T. brings a wealth of experience to the Knights, having previously coached at Holmes Community College, the Upstate Mavericks Organization and Spartanburg High School. While serving as a volunteer assistant coach at Birmingham-Southern College, J.T. helped the team finish as the National Runner-Up after winning the Regional and Super Regional. He also worked with the team catcher who went on to win the National Gold Glove Award for his position. In addition to coaching, J.T. has recruited at the D3 level. J.T. earned a degree in Business Economics from Wofford College. He was a member of the Millsaps College baseball team, playing catcher, first base, pitcher and designated hitter.
