Katie Thompson joined the Advancement Office in November 2014 and currently serves as the Director of Development. Katie is responsible for overseeing the school’s capital and operating fundraising efforts and for stewarding gifts and donors to the school. A Baton Rouge native, Katie is a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy and Louisiana State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing. A key member of the development team at the Louisiana Arts & Science Museum for seven years, Katie brings a variety of experiences to our fundraising work. She is a former board member and active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Katie and her husband Cory are proud parents of a Middle School and Lower School student.
Lindsay Turner is a 1997 graduate of Episcopal High School. She received her undergraduate degree at The University of Alabama in Business and received her master’s degree in Sports Administration from Louisiana State University. After spending 17 years on LSU’s campus both at the LSU Alumni Association as well as the Tiger Athletic Foundation, in 2019, she accepted a position as the Development Outreach Coordinator here at Episcopal. Since then, she has moved into the role of Director of Alumni Engagement, working closely with Episcopal graduates near and far. Lindsay married another Episcopal alum, Earl Turner III, and they have two children, Wynn and Sydney. Lindsay is thrilled to be back on campus and looks forward to reenergizing and reconnecting with fellow Knights in our alumni community.
Morgan Talluto serves as the Director of Advancement Services after joining the Advancement office in April 2024 as the Annual Fund Coordinator. Morgan is a native of New Iberia, LA and a graduate of Catholic High School of New Iberia and Louisiana State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies. She previously served as the Director of Development at Companion Animal Alliance and worked in advancement roles at the LSU Foundation and Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University. Morgan and her husband, Peter, are proud parents to two young girls, Cameron and Madison. In addition, Morgan is mom to therapy dog Caddy Waddy, who makes frequent visits to Episcopal’s campus.
Bringing experience in financial reporting, operational administration, and database management, Alyssa Farmer serves as the Advancement Services Coordinator. Prior to her role at Episcopal, she held leadership and financial management positions across several industries including independent schools and nonprofit organizations, public accounting, and corporate finance. She is passionate about building efficient systems that allow educational institutions to flourish and fulfill their mission for students and families. Alyssa earned a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in accounting from Texas A&M University. She and her husband Dan are proud parents to two Lower School Knights.
Madeline Volland is the Episcopal Director of Annual Giving. Madeline brings a wealth of fundraising experience to the role, having previously worked as the Director of Development and Donor Experience Officer at Louisiana Tech University, Division of University Advancement and Donor Relations Manager at the Houston Ballet. Madeline was a key member of the Louisiana State University Foundation development team, where she worked with mid-level donors, served as a frontline fundraiser and moved into the role of the Director of Development, Major Gifts and Unit Lead for Manship School of Mass Communication. Madeline has experience spanning annual giving to major gifts and has managed multi-channel fundraising campaigns, stewardship processes and donor engagement programs. Madeline earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Louisiana Tech University.
