Episcopal Alumni Association Helps Class of 2022 Say Thank You
May 4th, 2022

“Better than a thousand days of diligent study is one day with a great teacher.” Japanese Proverb
It’s an exciting time for members of the Class of 2022 as they prepare to take the next step in their journey. Before moving on, seniors had the opportunity to express their gratitude to those who have impacted them during their time at Episcopal. At the annual Episcopal Alumni Association’s Thank Back Give Back celebration, students wrote notes to that special teacher, coach or staff member. Members of the development team delivered the notes to classrooms across campus, and the reactions were heartfelt. Teachers were all smiles, and many expressed how much they will miss this special class. Along with the notes, each recipient also received a door hanger to celebrate that they made a difference in the life of a senior knight.

Welcome to the Alumni Community
The alumni event also served as a welcome for members of the Class of 2022, who will become graduates of Episcopal next weekend. Senior father and alumnus Scott Berg ’94 welcomed and encouraged this year's graduating class to stay involved and connected to Episcopal well beyond graduation. Lindsay Turner, Alumni Relations Coordinator, reminded these future alumni that giving back as alumni can take many forms, including coming back to campus for Homecoming or Alumni Weekend, reading to Lower School students, and, when the time is right, supporting the eFund and the Episcopal students of tomorrow. We want our graduates to stay involved in whatever ways they can. Berg was joined by fellow Legacy Parents who served this year’s class sweet treats on the Field House Terrace.
