Lower School Celebrates Love!
February 17th, 2022
Do you remember the days of trading cards and candy hearts with friends? There’s nothing quite like a Valentine’s Day party among the youngest Knights. This year, students and teachers celebrated the occasion in a big way with school traditions and special guests.
Love for Our Buddies
The Senior Buddies tradition is important for older and younger students alike. Each Valentine’s Day the Upper School students and their kindergarten friends celebrate by exchanging cards and enjoying time together on the playground. Younger Knights are also partnered with a 5th Grade Buddy to provide them a mentor in the same division. 5th Grade Buddies enjoyed receiving handmade cards from their friends at this year’s celebration. The buddy program is a great way to foster that sense of community that makes Episcopal so special.
Muffins with Moms
First graders celebrated love with family and friends. There were hugs and kisses all around and even time for quiet reading together.
No matter how they celebrated February 14th, Lower School students enjoyed their day. It’s great to be a young Knight! Happy Valentine’s Day from Lower School!
