Celebrating 2022 Legacy Graduates
May 18th, 2022
This year’s Alumni Legacy Reception was held on Thursday, May 12th at the City Club of Baton Rouge. The event highlighted one of the largest legacy classes in Episcopal history, with 21 graduates and their families being honored.
The evening began with a beautiful reception. Those in attendance received a warm welcome and congratulations from the current Episcopal Board of Trustees President, Dr. T’Lane Field. Head of School Dr. Carrie Steakley then addressed both the students as well as the parents on their commitment to Episcopal and the importance of the Episcopal bond from generation to generation. Dr. Steakley raised a toast to the parents for guiding and leading these young adults to this wonderful point and then raised a toast to the graduates on all they have accomplished and for the journey that lies before them. Parents, students, friends and family members in attendance shared memories and toasts to honor this special group.
We are so excited to welcome our newest group of graduates into the Episcopal alumni community, and it was an honor to honor this special group that has continued the Episcopal legacy.

Lindsay Turner is a 1997 graduate of Episcopal High School. She received her undergraduate degree at The University of Alabama in Business and received her master’s degree in Sports Administration from Louisiana State University. After spending 17 years on LSU’s campus both at the LSU Alumni Association as well as the Tiger Athletic Foundation, in 2019 she accepted a position as the Development Outreach Coordinator here at Episcopal. Lindsay married another Episcopal alum, Earl Turner III, and they have two children, Wynn and Sydney. Lindsay is thrilled to be back on campus and looks forward to reenergizing and reconnecting with fellow Knights in our alumni community.
