2024 Mums of Alums Luncheon Draws Large Crowd of Supportive Mums
May 2nd, 2024
Thank you to Kellie Kaufman Belk '87 for hosting this year's luncheon.
When more than 100 Episcopal mums get together it is a lively occasion. “The enthusiasm is incredible,” Head of School Dr. Steakley commented as she welcomed mums to the annual Mums of Alums luncheon. The record turnout provided the perfect opportunity for catching up with old friends and welcoming new friends, including the mums of the Class of 2024.
This year’s festive spring event was hosted by Kellie Kaufman Belk ’87. Father Ralph Howe and Dr. Steakley welcomed guests. Dr. Steakley provided an update on the Episcopal school year and reminded mums that the academic, athletic, arts and service learning accomplishments are thanks to the support and contributions of mums and families. “The school is thriving,” said Dr. Steakley. “I appreciate your commitment.”
Mums enjoyed an outdoor lunch overlooking a beautiful garden and pool. Attendees chose from a variety of refreshments provided by Margo Bouanchaud. It was a great way to honor Episcopal mums and celebrate the community spirit that unites us all.
