According to the National Merit Scholarship Program, nearly two million students compete each year, with approximately 16,000 making it to the semifinal round. Semifinalists are top scorers on the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test(PSAT) in their state.
National Merit finalists will be announced in February, with winners named in the spring. The selection committee reviews student grades, activities and leadership, as well as school information, to determine the winners. Scholarships are then awarded by the National Merit Scholarship Program, corporations, colleges and universities.
The Episcopal School of Baton Rouge 2025-2026 application is now available! For more information on the application process, to schedule a tour, or learn more about the private school, contact us at [email protected] or 225-755-2685.
