Lower School Families - Today’s news kicks off with A Merry Little Card Request!

Our hallway garland’s waiting
for some holiday cheer—
bright smiles, warm wishes,
and joy from far and near!

To make our school feel festive,
we’d love your help this year:
send in Christmas cards from your family
to spread the season’s cheer.

We’ll hang them up with sparkle,
with ribbons, twine, and love,
and turn our halls to something
like the North Pole up above!

So send a card to school,
and help our garland grow—
a merry trail of memories
that makes our season glow!

Important Information & Reminders

• Theme - Our theme this week was hope! Mrs. Lofland’s Toolbox Tuesday lesson is here.
• In the QUEST Center this week, Early Childhood students created ornaments for the QUEST Christmas tree, explored magnetism with jingle bells, and experienced pretend snow in the sensory bin. 1st graders in Ms. Nguyen's class created rainforest scenes with plants and animals found there as the culmination of their rainforest project work. 4th graders began building their arcade games incorporating circuits as part of their study of electricity.
• Q3 Club Brochure - Check out our club offerings for the 3rd quarter! Enrollment closes December 12 at 3PM.
• Chaplain Koenig - We are thrilled to share that Mrs. Jenny Koenig, our Lower School religion teacher, recently completed the process to become a chaplain. Congratulations Chaplain Koenig!
• Christmas Celebrations - Details for special Christmas celebrations and parties for your child’s grade will be included in weekly teacher news. Join us!
• Artsonia - Artsonia has a promotion to save 15% on one item if ordered by December 15 using code MERRY25!
• Winter Smash Camp Registration - Smash Camp is offered on our December half days. Enrollment closes December 12th at 5PM. Reminder: There is no Extended Care 12/16 - 12/18.
• Lost & Found - Please encourage your child to check the Lost & Found. It’s overflowing with sweatshirts, jackets, water bottles, and more! Any items still remaining by 12/18 will be donated to the Used Uniform collection.
• 12/13 Reverend Casey’s Ordination - All are welcome to join this joyous event, held at the St. James Episcopal Church at 5:00 PM. Here are more details.
• Campus School Store – The Campus School Store is open on Wednesdays from 7:30-8:30 AM and Thursdays from 2:00-3:00 PM. Payment types accepted: cash, credit cards, and checks. Items for sale: All sizes of white and navy crewneck sweatshirts and hoodies, navy sweatshirts, PE uniforms, everyday tee shirts, and other miscellaneous items. Please check in at the Alumni House before shopping. Come see us!
• Team Talyn - Donations for the family may be made through our School Store. Lower School students are invited to wear Team Talyn t-shirts, paired with uniform bottoms, on each Tuesday, designated as Team Talyn Tuesdays, and lift her in prayer as a community. On behalf of her family, thank you for your prayers and support.
