International Travel at Episcopal
International travel at Episcopal reflects the school’s commitment to global education and experiential learning. Through faculty-led experiences, students engage thoughtfully with different cultures, histories, and perspectives in ways that deepen understanding and encourage reflection.
Recent and recurring international travel experiences have included:
French-speaking regions, including Quebec and other Francophone locations
Spanish-speaking countries in the Americas
STEM-focused travel centered on ecology, geology, and environmental study
History, art, and cultural studies in Europe
Cultural exploration and interdisciplinary learning in Asia
International travel experiences are designed to support academic learning while fostering curiosity, empathy, and a broader sense of responsibility in an interconnected world.
Financial Assistance for Travel Opportunities
Episcopal is committed to ensuring that travel opportunities are accessible to students. Financial assistance may be available for eligible families to support participation in school-sponsored travel experiences.

Iceland
Episcopal students explore Iceland with a focus on environmental and geological study. These experiences connect scientific learning to real-world landscapes and encourage observation, inquiry, and reflection through hands-on exploration.
Costa Rica
Tropical Ecology
Costa Rica’s rich ecosystem offers an ideal setting for Episcopal students to engage in experiential science learning and environmental awareness projects. Past experiences have included conservation-based learning, service projects and outdoor adventures.
Middle School Trips
Episcopal offers international travel experiences for Middle School students that emphasize language immersion and cultural engagement. These experiences are designed to introduce global learning through guided travel and shared cultural experiences at destinations like Quebec Canada.

History and Art History

East Asia

Episcopal plans to offer international travel experiences in East Asia focused on cultural exploration and interdisciplinary learning. These experiences are intended to emphasize historical understanding, cultural context, and global perspective through faculty-guided engagement.
Travel offerings, locations, and dates may change based on interest, availability, and school approval.
For flexibility and security, detailed trip information—including specific dates, costs, and itineraries—is shared directly with participating families.
