Special Delivery: Alumni Care Packages are On the Way!
November 30th, 2023
Can the Spirit of Episcopal be mailed? Sixth graders did just that this week when they sent care packages to members of the Class of 2023 just in time for college exams. This annual tradition has become a big part of the Middle School holiday season and a special treat for alumni. Each little box of joy includes handmade reindeer ornaments, sock snowmen, cocoa reindeer and personalized cards. “A Prayer for the Time of Exams” is also enclosed to provide comfort to the new grads as they complete their first semester of college.
As the Middle School students glued wiggly eyes and transformed pipe cleaners, they sang carols and shared stories and laughs. Even though most students had never done anything like this before, they were not shy about creating something memorable. In fact, some students said the most challenging part was not eating the chocolate supplies!
As the newest class of Episcopal grads snack on these treats from home, we hope they feel the support of the entire school community. We also hope that whether near or far, our alumni feel the Spirit of Episcopal and the connections that last a lifetime. Once a Knight, always a Knight!
The Episcopal School of Baton Rouge 2025-2026 application is now available! For more information on the application process, to schedule a tour, or learn more about the private school, contact us at [email protected] or 225-755-2685.
