Episcopal Recognized Nationally with AP School Honor Roll Distinction
January 16th, 2026

Episcopal is proud to be named to the 2025 AP School Honor Roll, earning the Gold distinction in one category and the Platinum distinction in two categories. This recognition reflects the school’s commitment to preparing students for college and for purposeful lives.
This year, Episcopal celebrated 75 AP Scholars, including 29 Scholars with Distinction. With more than 20 AP courses offered annually and an exceptional 1:30 student‑to‑college‑counselor ratio, students benefit from both academic challenge and individualized guidance throughout their college admission journey.
According to the College Board, “The AP School Honor Roll recognizes schools whose AP programs are delivering results for students while broadening participation. Schools can earn this recognition annually based on criteria that reflect a commitment to increasing college-going culture, providing opportunities for students to earn college credit, and maximizing college readiness.”
A Culture of College Readiness
Episcopal students benefit from a robust college counseling program. With three full-time College Counselors, students have frequent access to a designated counselor who knows them and understands their career goals and aspirations for the future. At Episcopal, the college admission process begins in eighth grade and includes one-on-one counseling, application workshops, the college fair, college tours and visits, course selection, and test preparation. Ultimately, Episcopal students earn admission to the school that best fits their needs and long-term goals.
We are proud of our students’ achievements and grateful for the faculty, counselors, and families who support them every step of the way.
Join us in congratulating our students on a job well done!
