Episcopal Student Artists Selected for LSU Juried Student Exhibition

February 23rd, 2026

Congratulations to student artists Tiffany Foxworth and Finn Gray! The duo has been selected to exhibit their art in the 10th annual LSU School of Art Statewide Juried Student Exhibition.

Art has been an important part of Tiffany and Finn’s lives for as long as they can remember. “Art is an outlet for me,” says Finn. “It’s always been with me.” A senior, Finn says showing for a second time confirms that art is worth continuing. With such validation, Finn may minor in art in college and pursue art beyond a hobby. Finn found inspiration for the LSU submission from a digital image of New York City. The piece took a month and a half to complete and was made using oil pastels.

Like Finn, Tiffany is thrilled to be sharing her artwork, and this is the second consecutive year that she’ll have a piece in the LSU exhibition. Tiffany says last year’s experience felt professional, and there was no hesitation about participating again this year. Tiffany says her goal is to show improvement and growth with each exhibition. She also uses each piece to showcase her personality and identity, with this year’s LSU piece representing a calmer side. This year’s piece was made using acrylic paint with added touches of sparkle.

According to LSU, “The goal of the exhibition is to inspire young artists to showcase the finest, artistic student talent in Louisiana. In its tenth year, the exhibition provides a platform for students’ work to be displayed in a professional artistic venue and offers insights into professional artist experiences.”

Art teacher Veronica Hallock encourages her students to participate in exhibitions such as the LSU show. “Art is one of these few things people can practice for most of their lives,” she says. “Many famous artists began their art careers in hospital beds. These exhibitions validate and reinforce young artists, no matter what their pursuits or where life takes them, art is always there alongside them. These exhibitions showcase that art is something vital to the human experience, and that their creative passion is worth celebrating.”

Don’t miss the opportunity to see Finn and Tiffany’s art on display. The exhibition runs March 6th through March 21st in the Barnes Ogden A&D Complex Gallery.
