Episcopal to Host the 2026 CW Austin Learning Disabilities Conference
January 28th, 2026

On Saturday, February 28, Episcopal will welcome families, educators and learning specialists from across the region as the host site for the 2026 CW Austin Learning Disabilities Conference, organized by the Greater Baton Rouge Learning Disabilities Coalition. This annual event brings together experts dedicated to understanding how students learn and how best to support them. Conference topics will focus on the following:
- ADHD
- Dyslexia
- Autism
- Mental health
- Behavior management
- Learning strategies
Two Episcopal faculty members will also share their expertise. Academic Technology Coordinator Brandi Bergeron will discuss accessibility features in technology. Middle and Upper School Learning Support Service Coordinator Tiffany Muse Guerin will provide guidance on the Special Education evaluation process, with a major focus on the differences between school-based evaluations and clinical/private assessments.
Building Community and Supporting Every Learner
Hosting the CW Austin Conference aligns well with Episcopal’s efforts to build community and strengthen partnerships throughout the region, while also expanding the school’s reach within the educational landscape. By opening campus to families and professionals seeking knowledge and support, we help create a more informed and connected community better prepared to nurture student learning.
Join Us on February 28
The CW Austin Learning Disabilities Conference is free and open to the public, though registration is required. Parents, teachers and community members are invited to attend.
