Lower School Families,
We’ve had a wonderful week in the Lower School!
- Our theme this week was listening. Click here to see Mrs. Lofland’s Toolbox Tuesday lesson about SLANT.
- In the QUEST Center, Early Childhood students investigated floating and sinking by testing how many pieces of “gold” it takes to sink a cauldron. PreK-3 students created habitats from various materials for the animals that they have been studying. 2nd graders hosted their annual International Fair by participating in various activity booths from a wide variety of countries and cultures. 5th graders learned about the eye and light from a guest speaker.
- 5th graders visited the Louisiana School for the Visually Impaired.
- All students safely practiced an emergency preparedness Intruder Drill.
