Lower School Families, 

We’ve had a wonderful week in the Lower School! 

• Our theme this week was listening. Click here to see Mrs. Lofland’s Toolbox Tuesday lesson about SLANT.
• In the QUEST Center, Early Childhood students investigated floating and sinking by testing how many pieces of “gold” it takes to sink a cauldron. PreK-3 students created habitats from various materials for the animals that they have been studying. 2nd graders hosted their annual International Fair by participating in various activity booths from a wide variety of countries and cultures. 5th graders learned about the eye and light from a guest speaker.
• 5th graders visited the Louisiana School for the Visually Impaired.
• All students safely practiced an emergency preparedness Intruder Drill.

Other Important Information

• 3/13 Quarter 3 Progress Reports - These will be emailed to parents today.
• 3/16 Parent-Teacher Conference Day - Childcare for current Lower School students will be available from 7:30-12:00 in the Greer Center.
• 3/17 St. Patrick’s Day - Students are invited to wear a touch of green today - green socks, green tie, green bow, etc. 
• 3/18 Class Picture Day - There’s something special about capturing this moment in the school year—students growing, friendships forming, and memories being made. Class photos are a snapshot of the joy, learning, and community that fill our classrooms each day. Please remember to send your child to school ready to smile and shine! We can’t wait to capture this moment together.
• Sunday, 3/22 NHS Sponsored Fun Run/Walk - I hope you’ll take a look at this NHS-sponsored event, which benefits the American Cancer Society. Follow the QR code on the link to register for the walk/ run or just make a small donation. 
• 3/23 Lower School Monday Knight Lights -  This is THE night to be a Knight! Festivities kick off at 3:30 PM with our Varsity Knights on the tennis courts, followed by softball at 5:00 PM and baseball at 6:00 PM. Bring your family, wear your blue and gold, and help us pack the stands, cheer loudly, and show your Knight pride! Don’t just watch—be part of the excitement! This is one night you’ll remember! 
• 3/31 Easter Egg Hunt & Parties - Join us for these special events. See your child’s grade level news for more details.
• 4/2 Grandparents & Special Friends Day - Here are more details.
• 4/13 Rising 6th Grade Parents - Middle School New Parent Night is Monday, April 13, at 6PM.

• Tray Helpers - Volunteers needed. Please sign up here.
• Team Talyn Tuesday - We continue to lift 5th grader Talyn in prayer as a community each Tuesday. As a reminder, all Lower School students are invited to wear Team Talyn t-shirts in support of her brave battle against cancer. #teamtalyn
• Summer Camps - Enrollment is open! For more information, please visit our website. 
• Campus School Store – The Campus School Store is open on Wednesdays from 7:30-8:30 AM and Thursdays from 2:00-3:00 PM. Payment types accepted: cash, credit cards, and checks. Please check in at the Alumni House before shopping.
