With extensive experience in elementary education and school leadership, Angele Sakovich serves as the Lower School Assistant Division Head. She previously taught PreK-4 at Episcopal. Sakovich began her career as a kindergarten teacher in Florida public schools before expanding her experience to private and parochial schools, where she broadened her perspective and eventually served as Assistant Principal at San Jose Catholic School. She later continued her career in Texas as a STEM teacher and supported English Language Learners in the classroom before returning home to Louisiana. There, Sakovich served as the Preschool Lead Teacher at the Louisiana State University Early Childhood Education Laboratory Preschool and later taught kindergarten in Ascension Parish before returning to Episcopal in her current leadership role. Sakovich earned both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Education in Elementary Education from the University of Florida and completed the Professional Preparation Program for Principal Certification at Lamar University.
