Dear Upper School Families,

Earlier this week, during our MLK Eucharist, Father Patrick shared a powerful image: our Episcopal community is not merely a local phenomenon, but rather a resource that our graduates will "export" to the world.  As I look at our seniors and the entire Upper School student body, I am filled with confidence that they are prepared to navigate the future with the character and leadership that define a Knight.

Our greatest strength as a school lies in our community.  I invite you to join us for Knight Under the Stars, our annual gala and auction, on Saturday, March 7, 2026. This year’s theme is Havana Knights. This evening is more than just a celebration; it is a vital investment in the academic and extracurricular opportunities that define the Episcopal experience.  You may purchase tickets here.

I know that many of you are keeping a close eye on the weather forecast for this weekend.  Please know that we are monitoring the situation as well.  As of this morning, we plan to move forward with the Winter Formal tomorrow night as scheduled.  However, the forecast suggests that the weather may turn messy from Sunday into Monday.  Please prioritize your safety and the safety of your families as you make your plans, and stay tuned to official school channels for any updates regarding the start of the week.

Please note that we plan to host two important parent events next week:

• Tuesday, Jan 27: Parent Scheduling Coffee (9th, 10th, and 11th Grade parents), 8AM – A time to discuss the academic programs that prepare our students for the future.
• Thursday, Jan 29: Senior Parent Coffee (12th Grade parents), 8AM – An opportunity to review the final milestones for the Class of 2026.
   

Finally, looking ahead to this summer, note that registration for our 2026 Summer Camps is now open.  Visit episcopalbr.org/summer-camps to secure a spot for your student.
