Upper School Parent Newsletter | 10-16-26

October 16th, 2026 by Dan Binder

Dear Upper School Families,

With Quarter One officially in the rearview mirror, we begin looking ahead to cooler weather, shorter daylight hours, and the all-too-quickly approaching trio of Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Please take note of the following updates regarding grade reporting and our upcoming schedule:

Q1 Grades: Our faculty and administration are currently finalizing Quarter One grades.  Grades will undergo administrative review before being published to PowerSchool for families to view. An email notification will be sent once grades are live.

Asynchronous Virtual Day (Next Friday) Next Friday, the Upper School will observe an Asynchronous Virtual Day while our faculty engage in professional development.  Students will work remotely from home and must submit their assigned coursework on Canvas by the posted deadlines in order to be marked present for attendance.

As always, thank you for your partnership, your trust, and your support of our faculty and students.  Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.

Thanks,
Dan Binder
Head of Upper School
