Andrea Norwood’s thesis explores the topic of censorship by comparing the advent of the Internet’s impact on modern Chinese censorship with the invention of the printing press and its effects on the Catholic Church in the 15th and 16th Centuries.

Andrea Norwood

Andrea is currently a senior in high school. She is a member of the Quizbowl team, the National Honor Society, and the National Spanish Honor Society. She has participated annually in the high school theatre production and has helped backstage in the middle school productions. She is also a part of the Thesis program, where she studied and compared the censorship systems of the Early Modern Catholic Church and the modern-day Chinese government.
