October 14, 2026
There’s lots to look forward to in Lower School! From exciting learning experiences in the QUEST Center to theatre performances, service opportunities, and fun fall traditions, our students have plenty to keep them busy in the weeks ahead. Take a look at what’s happening around campus and mark your calendars for these upcoming events!
Click here to see what students are doing in the QUEST Center this week!
Get ready to party and Move It Move It with the cast of Madagascar Jr. Performances are October 16–18. We hope you’ll come support our students and enjoy a night at the theatre. Click here to purchase tickets.
Students for Humanitarian Aid and Awareness, a student-led service club, is hosting a gently used book drive during the week of October 19-23. Please consider donating children's books that are no longer being read at home. Donated books can be dropped off during morning carpool throughout the week, helping provide reading opportunities for local schools and families. Thank you for supporting literacy in our community!
Mark your calendars for our next Lower School Parent Coffee on Wednesday, October 28, at 8:15 AM in the QUEST Center, or immediately following Chapel. This month’s topic is Rude, Mean, or Bullying?
We invite you to join us for Lower School Volleyball Night on Thursday, October 29. The JV begins at 5 PM, with the Varsity game after.
Our annual Halloween Parade is on Friday, October 30 at 8:15 AM in the Carpool Circle. Costumes should be school-appropriate and not gruesome. We would ask that students refrain from face makeup or props. If tennis shoes are not worn with the costume, make sure your child brings a pair for recess and PE.
Boots. Buckles. BBQ….and Knights! Dust off your boots and grab your cowboy hat because the first annual Smokey Knights BBQ Tailgate Cook-Off is coming to Lot 18 on November 6th! Join us for an unforgettable evening of mouthwatering BBQ, live country music, Senior Knight festivities, and plenty of Western fun. Support the event by becoming a Team Sponsor, Event Sponsor, or purchasing your Pitmaster Voting Tickets and help crown the Smokey Knights BBQ Champion! Best of all, the food is free, so come hungry and ready to cast your vote for your favorite pitmaster. We can't wait to see y'all there!
Click here to read about our upcoming Veterans Day Parade on November 11 at 9:30 AM. Family, friends, and neighbors of Episcopal are encouraged to join the car parade! There is a sign-up link in the message. Students are invited to dress in red, white, and blue to honor those who serve our country.
Thank you for your continued support of our Lower School community! We look forward to seeing our families at many of these upcoming events as we celebrate learning, service, school spirit, and the fall season together. As always, please check your weekly Knightline and teacher newsletters for additional updates and reminders.
Go Knights!
