Dear Lower School Families,

Thank you to everyone who donated school supplies for Melrose Elementary. The generosity of our Lower School community was truly overwhelming, and the amount of supplies collected was incredible. Today a group of 5th graders delivered the supplies and the school was so grateful for your support and kindness.

Today, our 4th grade students also received their Bibles. It was a special milestone, and the turnout from families was amazing. Thank you for showing up to support our students and for partnering with us in these meaningful moments.

Artsonia is up and running for the 2026-2027 school year! New families are currently being added, and we appreciate your patience as we work through the setup process. Once your account has been created, you will receive an email invitation to join. Stay tuned for more information!

Around Campus:

Check out these Lower School Happenings to see what your child learned on Toolbox Tuesday and in the QUEST this week. 

The Episcopal Gold Steppers will be selling ribbons at lower school carpool circle on football game days beginning Thursday, September 3rd! Ribbons will be $1 each. We will do our best to keep change on hand, but please bring the exact change whenever possible. We can’t wait to see our Episcopal community showing their spirit! Go Knights!

Our first PG Pizza Day is this Friday! Students who pre-ordered pizza will receive it for lunch. Chef Pat will also be serving lunch for students who did not order pizza, so there will be an option available for everyone. 

The All4One eFund Campaign kicks off September 8! We are so proud to share that our faculty and staff have reached 100% participation, and we are hopeful our parent community will help us reach that milestone as well!  Your support, no matter how large or small, truly makes a difference.

Our first Lower School Parent Coffee is scheduled for September 16, 2026, at 8:30 AM in the QUEST. This month’s topic is “Understanding Your Child’s Behavior and How to Respond to It…”  We hope you’ll join us for this informative and engaging conversation! Please mark your calendars for our upcoming Parent Coffee dates:  October 28; November 2; February 19; and April 14.

Karnival Knight is just around the corner, so be sure to purchase your gear! Students may wear their Karnival Knight T-shirts all week leading up to the Karnival with school-approved bottoms, including shorts, pants, or skirts.
