Middle School Math Competition Success!
September 26th, 2022

On Thursday, September 22nd, the Episcopal math team competed at the annual Catholic High Middle School Tournament. The team competed against approximately 200 math students from around Baton Rouge in Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, and Geometry math competitions.
In the Relay Race Event, the students placed in the following categories:
Pre-Algebra
3rd Place Team – Tarik Avci, Oscar Fenske, Leo Abraham, and Condrey Fautheree
Algebra I
4th Place Team – Aiden Bradford, Patrick Kelly, Andrew Richard, and James Gawronski
2nd Place Team – Eli Gray Bennett, Hope Johnson, David Gboloo, and Wylie Schexnayder
Geometry
5th Place Team – Alex Messina, Stefan Schexnayder, James McIlwain, and Colleen Newton
4th Place Team – Regan Danos, Jordan Harvey, Caroline Watson, and Grace Waguespack
3rd Place Team – Elizabeth Odom, Kate Janney, and Emma Waguespack

In the Individual Competition, the students placed in the following categories:
Pre-Algebra
Honorable Mentions – Leo Abraham, Lila Awad, and Oscar Fenske
4th Place – Tarik Avci
1st Place – Condrey Fautheree
Algebra I Upper Division
4th Place – Eli Gray Bennett
2nd Place – Andrew Richard
1st Place – James Gawronski

4th Place – Jordan Harvey

In the Team Competition, the students placed in the following categories:
