Baseball
Knights fans won’t soon forget this year’s team and the creative ways they showed their solidarity. The team came together on the field and earned the District 6-2A Championship with a 6-2 win versus Dunham. With that, the Knights earned a spot in the state playoffs, and the team traveled north to take on Calvary Baptist. The Knights took the first game before coming up short in the Regional Round 3-game series. It was a great season for Episcopal baseball!

Caleb Besselman (Junior) - Honorable Mention
Chase Cresson (Junior) - Honorable Mention
Walker Dauzat (Senior) - 1st Team Infielder and District MVP

Esports
It was a busy season for the Knights. The Upper School Rocket League team finished in the top four in the state, losing to Mandeville in the semifinals. With 12 players competing, the Middle School team’s average rank rose by one level. They competed against 11 other middle schools this spring with a combined record of 4-9. The Knights eSports teams continued to improve over the year, and they look forward to going big next year!

Sophia Macias is the Division 2 LHSAA Golf State Champion! She shot 5 under par for the win. Previously she earned the regional individual title on her way to the state tournament. Episcopal’s Burke Tarleton also earned a spot in the state tournament after shooting a 75 at regionals. Congratulations Episcopal golfers!
Congratulations to the following All-Metro Team selections:

Softball
Senior Knight at the park was incredible! In a close game with Dunham, sophomore Regan Danos brought in senior Katie Clark for the 8-7 win and the District Championship title! The Knights advanced to the first round of the playoffs where they fell short, but this season is sure to be one to remember.
Congratulations to the following All-District selections
Anna Uffman (Senior) - Pitcher and District MVP
Elaine Bourgeois (Junior) - Shortstop
Taylor Bowden (Junior) - Catcher

Tennis
The Knights tennis team had much to celebrate this season with big wins versus Denham Springs, West Feliciana, Zachary, Live Oak, Central, St. Michael’s and Ascension Catholic! With all that success, 16 Episcopal tennis players played in the LHSAA Regional Tournament, and 12 qualified for the state tournament.
At regionals, the girls team placed second with Merrill Eglin as the singles runner-up, and the boys team placed third. Merrill followed that regional finish with the Girls Division III State Singles Runner-Up title and the doubles team of Ethan Davis and Michael Zhang made it to the semi-finals match of the Boys Division III State Tournament.
Congrats to the following All-Metro team selections:
Merrill Eglin (7th) - Singles
Ethan Davis (Freshman) - Doubles
Michael Zhang (Sophomore) - Doubles

Track & Field
Congratulations to the Knights Track & Field teams for winning the District Championships again! The girls won the regional meet with a score 50 points higher than the second-place finisher.
The boys and girls finished the year strong with third place finishes in the LHSAA 2A State Championship meet. There were plenty of personal records put up by the Knights, including a school and Class AA record by the girls 4x800M team of Ada Mere, Neva Lambert, Rebekah Reid and Sara Beth Cagley. Congratulations!
