Welcome to Knightline!

This will be our weekly communication, designed to keep everyone informed and connected. We are excited to streamline Lower School communications by sharing updates each Wednesday, making it easier to stay up to date with important information, events, and announcements.

Our students are settling in well and adjusting to classroom routines, expectations, and the structure of the school day. We are excited to see you tomorrow for Parents’ Knight! Please note that this is a parents-only event. We look forward to sharing important information and connecting with you as we begin an exciting school year together.

Parents’ Knight Schedule

• 6:00 PM – Parent Reception in the VPAC Lobby – Thank you, Parents’ Guild!
• 6:30 PM – Lower School Program in the VPAC Auditorium
• 7:00–7:30 PM – Homeroom Presentations in your child’s classroom

Attendance Reminders

To ensure consistency across all divisions, please remember that all absences, tardies, and early dismissals must be reported through PowerSchool. Students who are being picked up or released during the school day will not be released until the absence has been submitted.

Early Childhood Dismissal

Early Childhood students with PINK carpool tags may enter the carpool circle at 2:45 PM. The carpool line will begin promptly at 3:00 PM.

Girls on the Run

Girls on the Run is an after-school club for girls in grades 3–5. If you are interested in registering your child, please click here for more information and register. 

5th Grade Sweatshirt Ceremony

Next Friday, August 21, is a special day for our 5th graders—the Sweatshirt Ceremony! The Class of 2034 will receive their traditional sweatshirts during a chapel service beginning at 1:00 PM.  5th grade parents, please join us! Following the service, there will be a short reception in the VPAC Lobby.

Episcopal School Store

The Episcopal School Store is fully stocked with Episcopal gear, everyday t-shirts and gifts.  Store hours are:

• Wednesdays: 7:30–8:30 AM
• Thursdays: 2:00–3:45 PM
